Sparring is the crown jewel of any boxing workout. It requires, technical skill, physical conditioning and a desperate desire to separate from the pack. They don't do it in ballroom boxing, but not for the reason you'd think. Three minutes in the ring are the equivalent of three months of therapy. The mental and physical transformation you will undergo by sparring is astronomical. Everything you thought you knew about yourself ends once you step in the ring. It's the person that steps out that makes it all worthwhile.
